KINGS VOLLEYBALL CLUB SCHOLARSHIP

The Central Alberta Kings Volleyball Club is pleased to support and further the careers of its volleyball athletes by providing scholarships to graduated Kings Club athletes who are successfully playing on an approved post-secondary volleyball team.

The scholarship is awarded as a one time cash payment which will be provided directly to the player for their discretionary use against their costs as a post-secondary volleyball athlete. Eligible athletes can be awarded a scholarship of up to $250 based on the number of years of participation with the Central Alberta Kings Volleyball Club.

QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:

To qualify for the Kings Volleyball Club Scholarship, the athlete must meet the following criteria.  The player must:

  • Have played at least 1 full season as a CAKVC player in good standing.

  • Be an active roster athlete (not red shirt player) on an approved post-secondary institution's men’s volleyball team.

  • Be playing in an active season that is no more than 2 seasons since the last year of CAKVC player participation.

  • Have played their 18U club season with the Kings Volleyball Club

APPLICATION:

Potential scholarship applicants are encouraged to forward an individual picture of themselves in their post-secondary uniform and a mailing address for the scholarship response.

 

Exclusions: Any player who has received extraordinary disciplinary action because of their behavior as a Kings Club athlete, or otherwise disgraces the club, is ineligible for the scholarship.
